Data published by the European Union through Eurostat in 2020 explained that around 17.6% of the 20-34 years olds in the EU were neither in employment nor in education and training (NEETs). Also based on the OECD Education at a Glance 2021 report shown in 2020, the share of NEET young adults aged 18-24 years old was 15.1% on average across OECD countries. Particularly, during this COVID-19 pandemic, the opportunity for young people to have and create decent jobs, training and quality education became serious issues. This project is focusing on NEETs development through the lens of a

green and circular economy model. The knowledge and skills development about this topic is a necessity to develop among young people to support them in tackling unemployment and low skilled employment rate which can weaken the human capital of the country.

Economy and environment are major challenges which youth are facing nowadays and will face in the future.
